Elder Emmanuel Amissah

Early Life and Family

Elder Emmanuel Amissah was born on 1st January 1988, in Twifu Praso, a village in the Central Region of Ghana. He was the beloved son of Mr. Amos Amissah and Mrs. Augustina Amissah. Growing up in a humble and close-knit family, Emmanuel Amissah learned the values of hard work, faith, and community service from an early age.

Education

Primary and Junior Secondary School: Emmanuel began his formal education at Twifu Praso Primary School in 1994 and completed his Junior Secondary School (JSS) education in 2003.
Apprenticeship: After completing JSS, he pursued an apprenticeship in welding and fabrication in Koforidua, where he worked diligently from 2003 until 2007.
Secondary Education: In 2007, seeking further education, Emmanuel moved to WA in the Upper West Region of Ghana to leave with his uncle. Due to a four-year gap in his education, he initially enrolled at WA Workers College in November 2007. Demonstrating resilience and a strong desire to learn, he was transferred to WA TI Ahmedia Senior Secondary School (SSS) in 2008, joined the second-year group, He excelled in his studies; he wrote and passed the private WAEC exams in November 2008.

 

University Education:

Emmanuel’s academic journey continued at the University for Development Studies (UDS), where he pursued and completed a degree in accounting from 2009 to 2012. Later, he furthered his theological knowledge by studying theology at the University of Cape Coast (UCC).

Ministry:

Elder Emmanuel Amissah’s ministry began modestly during his time at WA Workers College, where he started as an Apologist. His passion for Apologetics and his eloquent defense of the faith quickly garnered him respect and recognition. Over the years, his ministry grew, and he held numerous positions within the church of Pentecost, impacting many lives. He was actively involved in the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC) in both WA and Kasoa. Emmanuel organized and hosted a variety of religious programs, including crusades, debates, conferences, and appearances on radio and TV platforms, spreading his message far and wide.

Work Experience:

Elder Emmanuel Amissah had a dynamic professional career, marked by significant roles in various institutions:
Regent University, Accra: Here, he demonstrated his commitment to education and mentorship.
Church of Pentecost Credit Union, WA: Combining his financial expertise with his dedication to community service, Emmanuel contributed to the growth and management of the credit union.
Church of Pentecost Office, London: In this international role, he extended his leadership and influence, significantly contributing to the church’s operations and outreach programs.

Personal Life:
Emmanuel was a man of deep faith, known for his compassion, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to improving the lives of those around him. He balanced his professional and ministerial duties with a strong commitment to his family and community.
